About

Dance-focused summer programming run out of Dancewave's Gowanus studio in Brooklyn, with a senior intensive held at New York City Center in Manhattan. Programs span four age-based tracks — from creative movement and storytelling through dance for the youngest campers, to integrative arts combining ballet, modern, and visual arts, to a choreography-focused intensive for preteens. Sessions are bookable by the week or by the day. Dancewave is a 501(c)(3) arts organization with a tiered tuition model designed to keep programs accessible, and its curriculum weaves social-emotional learning into movement throughout.
