About

Language-immersion summer day camp running out of the International School of Brooklyn's Carroll Gardens campus on Court Street, with parallel French and Spanish tracks taught entirely in the target language. Each week builds around a habitats-and-communities theme that ties arts and crafts, cooking, music, drama, sports, gardening, and storytelling to thematic vocabulary, plus daily outdoor time at the school's play yard and neighborhood parks. Weeks include field trips to NYC cultural institutions and visits from naturalists or guest artists. Groups are capped around eighteen with two to three counselors, and staff teach in their native language. A counselor-in-training track is offered alongside the core program, and extended afternoon care is available.
