Free Brooklyn-based nonprofit summer program combining science fiction, creative writing, visual art, and STEM workshops for young women and trans, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming youth. Two summer tracks run concurrently: a four-week day program for incoming middle schoole… Free Brooklyn-based nonprofit summer program combining science fiction, creative writing, visual art, and STEM workshops for young women and trans, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming youth. Two summer tracks run concurrently: a four-week day program for incoming middle schoolers (grades 6–8) and a five-week afternoon institute for high school and college-age participants (14–19). Campers work across digital media, comics, coding, and hands-on science projects, and conclude the summer with a public showcase and a zine featuring their writing and artwork. Field trips exploring art and STEM throughout New York City are woven into the program. All programs are fully free and include meals.
